Standard Portable Toilet Rental

Standard Portable Toilet Rental

The standard portable toilet is the unit most people picture — and the one most job sites and events actually need. Ours are Satellite Tufway units: a toilet, a urinal and a hand-sanitizer dispenser in a ventilated, lockable cabin that needs no power and no water hookup. Every unit is delivered filled and ready, and serviced weekly with cleaning, pumping, sanitizing and restocking.

Next-day delivery as standard, same-day with a fee — in any season. No delivery fee on standard units, no minimum rental period.

The 70-gallon tank is what sets the service interval: on a typical job site with up to 10 workers, weekly service keeps a unit comfortably ahead of capacity. Heavier use — bigger crews, events, summer heat — means more units or more frequent service, not a bigger unit.

What's included at every service

Weekly service is standard on every rental, and each visit is the same four steps: pumping the tank, cleaning the cabin, sanitizing the surfaces, and restocking the consumables. Every unit leaves each service with hand sanitizer and three rolls of toilet paper. Most competitors treat sanitizer as an upcharge and stock two rolls; we don’t, and on a long rental that difference is what your crew notices.

Between May and September we increase service frequency as the heat demands it, and overnight or early-morning servicing is standard on multi-day events, so units are clean before gates open.

Where a standard unit is the right call

Construction sites

This is the OSHA workhorse: one facility for crews of up to 20 workers, then one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers above that. Standard units with weekly service are how most Central Texas job sites meet that requirement — the full math is in our guide to OSHA porta potty requirements for construction sites.

Outdoor events

For festivals, races and public events, standard units carry the volume while restroom trailers cover the premium areas. Our event guide has the counts: event length by peak attendance, plus 15–20% where alcohol is served, with one ADA-certified unit and one handwash station per four restrooms.

Long-term rentals.

Anything longer than an event bills on a simple 28-day cycle with weekly servicing included and no minimum period.

Where guests expect a step up from the standard cabin, the Deluxe unit adds a shelf and a better finish; where accessibility is required, the ADA-certified portable restroom is a different unit entirely, not a modified standard one. And for upper floors on vertical builds, we outfit hi-rise, crane-accessible units built to be lifted by crane.

Delivery across Central Texas

We deliver from our Hutto yard across Williamson, Travis, Hays and Bell Counties and the Hill Country — next-day as standard, same-day with a fee, in any season. There’s no delivery charge on standard units unless it’s a same-day or emergency run, and no minimum order: one unit for a weekend gets the same service as forty units for a year.

What a standard unit costs depends on rental length and service frequency — our porta potty rental cost guide explains how the quote is built.

Frequently asked questions

What's inside a standard portable toilet?

A toilet, a urinal and a hand-sanitizer dispenser, in a ventilated, lockable cabin 44 by 48 inches and 91 inches tall. It needs no power or water hookup — units arrive filled and ready to use.

How often is a porta potty serviced?

Weekly, as standard on every rental. Each service includes pumping, cleaning, sanitizing and restocking with hand sanitizer and three rolls of toilet paper. We increase frequency in summer or for heavy use.

How many porta potties does my job site need?

OSHA requires one facility for crews of up to 20 workers, then one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers above that. Weekly service is assumed in that math; bigger crews need more units, not bigger ones.

Do standard units need power or water?

No. They’re self-contained — delivered filled, with a 70-gallon waste tank and no hookups. They just need firm, level ground and about four feet of access for delivery.

How fast can you deliver?

Next-day as standard, same-day with a fee — in any season, across Central Texas. There’s no delivery fee on standard units except for same-day or emergency runs, and no minimum rental period.
