White 3-stall restroom trailer set up under oak trees at a Hill Country venue

How Much Does Porta Potty Rental Cost in Central Texas?

Short answer: it depends on four things — the unit type, how long you need it, where the site is, and how often it's serviced. We price every rental from those factors rather than publishing flat rates, because a published rate has to either pad for the worst case or surprise you later. An exact quote takes about five minutes. Call or text (512) 643-7286, or submit an email.

The four things that set the price

Unit type

From least to most: a standard porta potty · a deluxe unit · an ADA-certified restroom · handwash stations and tanks · restroom trailers, which step up with size from 2-stall through 8-station. A climate-controlled trailer with flushing toilets and running water is a different product from a plastic unit — and for weddings, it usually costs less per guest than people expect. Which configuration fits your crowd is covered in our restroom trailer guide.

Rental length

Event rentals (a weekend) and long-term rentals (a 28-day cycle) are priced differently. Long-term pricing includes weekly servicing — pumping, cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking hand sanitizer and three rolls of toilet paper — so the monthly figure is closer to the event figure than most people assume, and there’s no minimum rental period.

Where the site is

Sites on or near our weekly routes — Hutto, Georgetown, Round Rock, Liberty Hill, the Temple–Belton–Killeen corridor — price at the low end, because the truck is passing anyway. A one-off delivery far off-route costs more. This is why two quotes for the same unit can differ: it’s routing, not markup.

Servicing frequency

Weekly is standard on long-term rentals. Heavy-use sites and Texas summers sometimes want twice-weekly; shower trailers are serviced two to three times a week by design.

What doesn't change the price

Peak season

March–May and October–November don’t cost more — they sell out. Same rates, less availability; booking six to eight weeks ahead secures your choice of trailer, not a better price.

Delivery

On standard next-day scheduling — it’s included, in any season. Same-day and emergency delivery carries a fee, and that’s the only speed-related charge there is.

What's always included

Delivery and setup on standard scheduling · leveling and connection testing on trailers · weekly servicing on 28-day rentals · hand sanitizer and three rolls of toilet paper per unit, restocked at every service (most companies upcharge for sanitizer and stock two) · 24/7 live phone answering. No fuel surcharges, no hidden line items — if something costs extra (same-day delivery, extra servicing, a generator), it's named on the quote.

Why we quote instead of publishing rates

Because the honest answer genuinely depends on your dates, your site and your routing. A published flat rate has to assume the hardest delivery and the heaviest servicing — which means most customers would overpay it. Telling us the location, dates and headcount takes five minutes and gets you a number built for your actual job, not a worst case.

FAQs

How much does it cost to rent a porta potty?

It depends on the unit type, rental length, location and servicing. Event and 28-day rentals are priced differently, and 28-day pricing includes weekly servicing. An exact quote takes about five minutes — call or text (512) 643-7286, answered 24/7.

Is delivery included?

Yes, on standard next-day scheduling, in any season. Same-day and emergency delivery carries a fee — the only speed-related charge.

Do prices go up during wedding season?

No. Peak season changes availability, not price — March–May and October–November weekends sell out, and trailers go first. Book six to eight weeks ahead to secure your choice at the same rates.

Is a restroom trailer expensive for a wedding?

Less than most couples expect, per guest. A single trailer replaces a bank of plastic units, includes climate control, flushing toilets and running water, and is priced for the event, delivered and collected. Tell us the guest count and we’ll price the right size in minutes.

What makes one quote higher than another for the same unit?

Almost always routing and servicing: distance from our weekly routes, and how often the unit needs servicing for the usage. Same unit, different logistics.

What's the cheapest option for a small event?

A single standard event unit — and where only one restroom is placed, we recommend the ADA-certified model so every guest can use it.
